AFH Bikes

After three years of development and testing the AFH team has announced that their road racing, traithlon bikes, and mtb frames are now available to the public. The frame is a thermoset carbon composite monocoque. They have been designed for ultra low drag when compared with conventional diamond frames. Each frame can be tailored made to fit the rider just right. Custom paint and parts are available.

The Road Racing frame weighs between 1650 - 1850 grams depending on the size. The frame is available in 16 different sizes in 5mm increments. A complete bike with Dura-Ace weighs in at 17.2 pounds.

The MTB 2.0 is a full suspension trail bike designed to be adjustable from XC racing to enduro and freeride. AFH claims that it excels in all conditions including on hard pack, mud, and and on snowy soil. The shock has progressive adjustment from 80-130mm. The seatmast and swingarm are made from custom butted 7005/T6 aluminum. The swingarm bearing is sealed. The frame without fork weighs 4.85 pounds and with an XTR groupo/Psylo it will weigh about 24.2 pounds.
