The Quake suspension fork series is the result of Magura's
European teamwork. It has been designed in close cooperation by Dutchman
Gerard Rond, former worldclass motocross champion, and Magura. The Quake
forks offer features which make us stand one step ahead of their competitors.
All Quake forks come with an oversized, ultrastiff one piece magnesium slider
that is ideally suited for disc brake use. The flexy and imprecise feeling
of other suspension forks due to torsional forces caused by powerful disc
brakes like a Magura Louise or Clara is no problem at all with a Quake.
All Quake models come with disc brake fitting eyelets in conformity with
the International Standard for disc brake installation. (exception:FIRM-tech
models). The teflon coated, very hard anodized stanchion tubes feature an
extreme longevity. The beautifully machined cold forged 6061 aluminium crown
ensures additional stability. The inner life of the Quakes is made of high
precision, top quality parts. Two separate pistons offer a large variety
of damping adjustment possibilities without needing tools. The open oil
bath cartridge guarantuees bump eating performance and super smooth damping
with little stiction.
