Manitou Develops Diva Fork for WomenBicycleRetailer.com reported that Answer Products will soon debut a new fork that has been designed specifically for women. This new fork will be call the Mars Diva and will be available this this summer. The Diva will be similar to the Mars Super, but it will be set up to perform well with the lighter weights of women having lighter compression and rebound damping and lighter spring rates.
According to marketing director Joel Smith, "We're getting calls from women wanting lighter spring rates".
The fork will be officially introduced the in June and start production runs for aftermarket forks in September. Smith said some original equipment manufacturers (OEM) have expressed interest in the fork but none have signed on yet. The white fork with sky blue decals will retail for $499.www.answerproducts.com
