| The midlands city of Birmingham will host stage five of the Tour of Britain, a 4 km time trial in the city centre. The T-Mobile Time Trial, the first of its kind in the Tour of Britain, is sure to be a spectacular event and crowd puller. The cycling will take centre stage for the 96 professional riders who will fiercely battle it out individually for every kilometre and vital second. Amongst the riders will be QuickStep's Michael Rogers, the Australian rider is currently the reigning Time Trial World Champion and has dominated the discipline for the last two years.
