| 05/14/2001 | Avid's SAAGO Threadless StemAvid's new line of high-end components called Black Ops has released the first of many new components. The SAAGO stem is a new designed stem that both looks great and protects your knees from the bolts that hold threadless stems to the steering tube. The new stem is very stiff and is easy to install and adjust. The stem uses one bolt that secures the stem. Like most other high-end stems the SAAGO features a removable faceplate for easy removal of the handlebars.
The stem is available in black and the weight is a modest 200 grams.
