Topeak Markets Panoram to Recumbent CyclistsPress Release from Topeak -- Foxborough, MA

A radical new concept in on-board computer design, the Panoram has a sleek, low profile design and a super-wide screen that is especially suited to recumbent bikes. Extra-long wires are provided to fit the elongated design of a recumbent bike. And because a recumbent rider sits back -- rather than leaning forward, as on a traditional bike -- the Panoram's super-wide screen offers readability that's unmatched by other bike computers.

With the Panoram, there's no scrolling from time to speed to distance functions. Four separate screens display data simultaneously. The right-hand screen displays all speed information. The center screens show clock and time functions. And the Panoram's left screen is reserved for distance and maintenance data. All information is continually available at a glance.

Riding at night? No problem. The Panoram comes equipped with an EL lamp for easy nighttime viewing.

When was the last time you checked your chain? The Panoram features a maintenance program setting to use as a safety reminder.

The Panoram comes with a multi-angle clip for mounting on the center of a handle bar stem. Just tilt to your viewing preference. The automatic sleep setting saves battery power when you're not on the road. And if you've got two bikes, the Panoram can store information for both.

Weighing less than an ounce (52 grams for computer only), the Recumbent Panoram comes with 66" wires, and is available for $54.94 at fine bike shops throughout the country. For those with conventional bikes, the Panoram is also available in both wireless and standard (33" wire) models.
