BH’s XC Dual Suspension Hits the Trails
BH is the biggest bicycle manufacturer in Spain and one of
the biggest in Europe. There are also one of the oldest manufacturer, they
started manufacturing weapons back in 1909. Now, the Beístegui Brothers
first XC full suspension bike that was so awaited in Europe, will start
to be available in dealerships worldwide.
The frame is made of 5086H16 aluminum, the only alloy that is approved for
welded structures in aeronautics due to its resistance to corrosion. Tubes
are provided by Aviatube, the Airbus supplier for aluminum.
The rear suspension system is what in MtB is called a Turner type with Horst
links. The frame pivot is very low to improve stiffness.
The shops will receive two different bikes with this frame playing the leading
role. The more expensive one (BH Coronas FS) will be equipped with XTR,
R/S SID XC, Mavic CrossRoc, Hutchinson Python UST,..., and the most affordable
(BH Coronas FS Replica) will cost $1700 and its equipment will be Deore
LX and a Psylo SL fork among some other good pieces.
This frame has been race tested by Coronas-BH team.
