| 06/05/2001 | Shimano Airlines Test Riders WantedShimano is bringing an interesting consumer test program. Inline with the "closer to nature, closer to people" slogan, Shimano would like to benefit from field riders' experience in order to strengthen our leading design and performance experience.
Limited quantities of Shimano Airlines groupsets are to be offered to European riders for testing at very special conditions. They are seeking for real hardcore riders that can bring the components to their limits. The aim is to acquire racing data from real consumers about shifting performance under various conditions.
Applications and conditions are displayed at this website, a special page has been opened beside the current Shimano Airlines page.A regular reporting about the riding experiences will be set up.
These selected Shimano Airlines Test Riders will have the opportunity to purchase a set of Shimano Airlines at very special conditions. In return they have to give their feedback and recommendations about Shimano Airlines during the test period.
