| 06/13/2001 | BikeMine Fills Three PositionsBikeMine, Inc. has filled three positions inside the organization, including a newly created Product Manager slot. 5-year employee Anthony Caldwell is the company's new Product Manager, and will be producing, placing, tracking and receiving all orders for BikeMine products. A long time OKC A's Bicycle staffer and manager, A.C. has been riding road & mountain for 10 years including racing mountain bikes locally.
Ron Dougherty is BikeMine's new Operations Manager. A 6-year BikeMine employee, Ron is a former bike shop manager and brings 5 years experience managing BikeMinešs customer service/inside sales operations into his new position. Ron recently coordinated the building of the BikeMine's new communications center, rides recreationally and enjoys bragging about his children.
Chris Smith has been kicked up from inside sales rep at BikeMine to Director of Inside Sales and Customer Service. A recreational cyclist who was born in California but raised in Oklahoma, it was Chris's passion for the CART open wheel racing series that got him hired on at BikeMine a year and a half ago.
BikeMine is the in-house distribution and marketing arm for both XLM Corporation and Vittoria North America. XLM and Vittoria North American maintain separate networks of independant sale reps across the U.S.; XLM is the U.S. exclusive distributor for Continental tires, Sports Instruments heart rate watches and computers, and Selle royal, Lookin and Fizik saddles, and Vittoria North America is the sole U.S. distributor for Vittoria tires, Geax tires, Echowell cycle computers and Camber locks. |
