Armstrong will not race in France until
Tour
Lance Armstrong has decided not to compete in France until
Tour. The last years he raced in some French competitions, such as Dauphiné
Liberé and Midi Libre, but this one he will prepare Tour de France
in some Spanish races.
This origin of this decision has been the request of the urine samples
from U.S. Postal members by the French autorities.
In spite of this, Armstrong has won by second year running the Vélo
de Oro award, while Erik Zabel has been second and Jan Ullrich, third.
