| 06/30/2001 | New Campagnolo Ultralight WheelsCampagnolo is in the final stages of development in creating a new carbon-rimmed wheelset. These wheels are to be the top of the Climb Dinamic range and will replace the Nucleons. The Nucleons will not be dropped, but the new wheelset, which will be called Hyperion will weigh 1200 grams for a set. This is 340 grams less than the tubular version of their current flagship wheels.
This weight could even be reduced, but Campagnolo prefers to offer a completely reliable product backed with a 3 year guarantee. The rims feature an aluminum braking flange under HPB specifications to provide a perfect pad fit.
Is also spected the replacement of the legendary Shamal wheels with a new model called Eurus
