| 07/02/2001 | Kryptonite New York FahgettabouditThe new lock from Kryptonite is call the New York Fahgettaboudit. This lock is the strongest chain yet from Kryptonite. This lock was designed to be used in urban areas and other high theft danger areas.
The lock is made from six-sided (11mm) hexagonal chain links made of triple heat-treated boron manganese steel for ultimate strength. The shape deters the use of bolt cutters, saws, chisels, hammers and files. The chain sleeved in a nylon covering that it to be coiled for carrying.
The chain is 3'3"(100 cm) in length. The lock is case-hardened 1/2" (13mm) Steel. Its new Piksafe™ disc-style cylinder is virtually pickproof.
The lock 8.4 lbs lock comes with a $3,500 (USD) Anti-Theft Protection within US and Canada.
