By David Díaz BlancoMagura will enter next year the rear shock damper market with a new model called "Pro". This new product will use air as an elastic element, and an hydraulic mechanism as damping system. It will be possible to adjust both compression and rebound speeds, and there will be a lever to lock it out. The valves used for compression and rebound control are different and placed apart from the other.
There will be also a new fork dubbed Air Pro XC. Its legs and arch will be one piece made of magnesium and will use air as its elastic element. It will be possible to adjust the preload, compression, and rebound. It will also feature an aluminum insertion in each drop to avoid the hub and quick release to leave grooves and a lock-out switch.
In the brake field, there will be a new model called Marta that will offer a quality hidraulic disc brake at a low price. It will feature a sigle piston mechanism with self-adjusting pads. The lever will be longer and made of aluminum
to allow a high power and a perfect handling. There will aslo be a new disc brake for Freeride bikes that is being developed starting from the Louise model.
