| 07/14/2001 | Manitou: The Six Fever By David Díaz BlancoManitou has unveiled its Six range that will replace the Magnum models. There will be four different forks dubbed Comp, Elite, Super, and DeLuxe. All will feature a preloadable spring inside the left leg.
The Comp model relies on the TPC Sport system, while the Elite and Super models share the FFD damping system, allowing a wider adjusting ratio in just a quarter of a turn of the dial. All them are convertible from 3,15” (80 mm) to 3,95 “ (100 mm) without adding parts and feature a forged aluminum arch that is stiffer than a magnesium one. All them have a Hayes disc brake mount, and it will be possible to choose the Disc Only option that comes without cantilever mounts.
The top of the range, the DeLuxe, features the TPC system and allows all kind of adjustments: compression and rebound speed, travel and preload. www.answerproducts.com
