| 07/17/2001 | Maverick and Seven Reach DealSeven Cycles and Maverick this week signed a licensing agreement that will allow Seven to produce custom frames with the Maverick rear-suspension technology. At this point Seven is the only company besides Maverick that will be using rear suspension that was developed by the former Rock Shox guru Paul Turner.
Maverick plans to continue to manufacture it aluminum-frame suspension frame. If you have $3600 for a Maverick frame and fork you still may be out of luck as supplies are very low.
Seven has plans to produce a titanium version of the Maverick frame. As of yet the name and price of the new frame is unknown. They have announced that the will unveil the bike at the Interbike trade show, September 28, with bikes available for order almost immediately thereafter.www.sevencycles.com
