| 07/23/2001 | Tanjor Aerodynamic TrailerThe Tanjor bicycle trailer is a new concept in bicycle trailers. The trailer combines lightweight construction with aerospace design for smooth easy pedaling. Children love the Tanjor's bullet-like profile. Adults love its low drag design. A 70-pound load costs the average cyclist 4 miles per hour, the Tanjor claims with its aerodynamics there is only a 2 mile per hour loss. Children are seated front to back
The standard Tanjor comes complete with the hitch, combination sun, bug and rain cover, and two seats, each with 5-point seat belt harness. The seats can be easily converted to a cargo surface in about one minute. The floor is hard plastic, which provides good wear resistance and strength. The wheels have 20" X 1.75" tires with aluminum alloy rims and hubs and stainless steel spokes.
The trailer can carry up to 100 pounds of total cargo or children. The seats are made for children over 18 months old. For younger children a car seat could be used.
With a length of 61 inches the trailer weighs a very respectable 21 pounds. The frame is made from 1" series 6000 aluminum tubing. The clear nose cone is vacuum formed 3/16" clear PETG plastic. www.lodrag.com
