| 08/07/2001 | Norco's 2002 Preview2002 will see the triumphant return of Norco's road line. Though it has only been gone for a few short years, the line has undergone a complete update, with a fresh new look and radical new designs. The CRD-1 will be mid-pack in the new line of hi-tech road warriors, and will be available at Norco dealers by Christmas 2002.
Riding on the unprecedented success of the 2001 VPS Shore, Norco is bringing the model back for 2002 with a vengeance. By adding cartridge bearings to ALL of the rear triangle pivots, the Shore will be smoother than ever. Not only will the frame ride smoother, with its reinforced rear triangle (which it now shares with all its VPS cousins) the 2002 Shore will withstand and abuse you throw its way. If you've shied away from the VPS design in the past because of its height and your lack of it, 2002 is the year to rejoice. Finally, a bike designed for the rigors of Shore-style riding to suit the needs of the smaller rider. The VPS Fluid. It's Easton Rad front triangle and cartridge bearing, 24-inch wheel compatible rear triangle may be compact, but it still incorporates all the strength and reliability the VPS series has become known for.
