| 08/17/2001 | K2 Bikes To Introduce Cyclocross Bike for 20022002 will be an exciting year for K2 Bikes with the introduction of the Enemy Cyclocross bike, redesigned Razorback platform and the expansion of the rest of the line.
The $949.00 retail price point Enemy Cyclocross bike is packed with aggressive features for the hardcore Cyclocross rider. Starting out with disk brakes tabs, double butted Kinesis aluminum frame and fork, Avid Shorty brakes and a WTB wheelset rounding out the package. The Enemy will also feature touring and winter training friendly features such as rack mounts and eyelets for those much needed fenders in the winter.
The Enemy has been designed and spec'd by some of the best cyclocross riders in the Nation and will be promoted heavily by these riders. Jonny Sundt who is a former U23 silver medallist and a seasoned European and Domestic rider will be traveling to the all the Supercup and UCI races in the US. Jonny will also be joined by seasoned rider Ingrid Spies who will be racing locally and hitting the West Coast Supercups. Team DEVO, the incredible junior and U23 team that has been dominating Norba Nationals and World Cup Mountain bike races will be hitting all of the Supercups riding Enemy's and has 3-4 potential World Champions in its ranks.
