| 08/20/2001 | Increase in Norwegians Cycling to WorkResults from this year's 'bicycle to work' drive in Norway reveal that an increasing number of Norwegians now travel to work by bicycle.
This year's increase in participation has been overwhelming, according to project manager Siri Meland of the Norwegian Exercise and Corporate Athletic Association. Nearly 4,000 firms took part in the drive, engaging more than 57,000 participants, according to The Norway Post.
Meland believes that people are becoming increasingly aware of the positive effect of exercise on health and the mind. |
