| 09/01/2001 | Eko Sports Purchases Kreitler Rollers and White BrothersEko Sport, the manufacture of Total Air cartridges, announced that they have purchased Kreitler Rollers and White Brothers cycling division. Bicycle Retailer reported that White Brothers' president Tom White said his company decided to sell in order concentrate on its motorcycle division.
"We've worked with Eko Sport for several years in the development of our air suspension systems for the AT-4 and XC-4 fork lines and feel that they have the resources and ability to take White Brothers to the next level in the cycling industry," White said.
Kreitler management had been looking for a buyer shortly after the death of the founder of Kreitler Rollers All Kreitler earlier this year.
Eko Sport will use the Kreitler and White Brothers names and continue selling each the existing products of each. Manufacturing for all products will move to Eko Sport's Grand Junction facilities.www.ekosport.com
