| 09/18/2001 | Paul Components New Cross LeverCyclocross has been steadily gaining new fans over the years, and Paul Component is right there with them. They have expanded their product line with the release of their new cross lever. This brake lever is designed to be a secondary lever for drop-bars. The lever is mounted up on the flats of drop bars and allows for instant braking when your hands are up top.
Paul CNC's these levers in house out of alluminum billet. They can be used with regular canti's or, by moving the pin to the top hole, they become v-brake levers. They recommend Dia-Compe 287-V levers for v-brakes with drop bars. They clamp on the larger portion of the bar so you don't have to wrestle them over every bend.
