 For
2002 Giant will release a new cross country mountain bike called the XTC
AC 1. The AC 1 combines the versatility of a cross country dualie and suspension
capabilites of a downhill bike. The AC series of bikes all feature an adjustable
travel suspension system. This allows you to easily choose 4.5", 5.5", or
6" of rear suspension travel, based on terrain or your own personal style.
The frame is constructed of ALUXX SL double butted aluminum. It features
triple gussets and sealed bearing pivots. Other highlights of this bike
include the Marzocchi Shiver SC, XTR rear derailleur, RaceFace North Shore
cranks, Hayes Hydraulic Disc brakes and more.
