| 11/07/2001 | Diamondback has reintroduced road bikes back into their 2002 product model line. Road bikes are not new to Diamondback. Their first bikes were road bikes. For 2002 the Interval, Expert and Master are all back and feature completely redesigned compact frames that are extremely agile, responsive and rigid.
The Interval is our entry-level road bike and is an exceptional value at less than $540. It’s road-ready with a full Shimano parts group, compact aluminum frame and a semi-aero wheelset. The Expert is a true racing bike that utilizes a smooth-welded compact heat-treated 7005 aluminum frame dressed for podium success with Shimano 9-speed Tiagra components, Equation wheels with aero rims and sealed hubs and kevlar Michelin tires. The Master, our top-of-the-line road-racer, easily lives up to its name with the help of smooth-welded heat treated 7005 aluminum compact road frame, Shimano’s 9-speed 105 component group and 16-spoke WH-535 wheelset and Vittoria Rubino tires. All three of these bikes are sure to be a welcomed sight to anyone in search of a responsive and nimble road machine.www.diamondback.com
