| 02/16/2002 | Torelli have expanded from just building fine steel frames into titanium. The new frame called the Titanio is constructed from 3AL 2.5V straight-gauge titanium. The vertical dropouts are 6AL4V. It is tig welded throughout, with a natural brushed titanium finish. The rear triangle is a monostay (wishbone).
The Torelli Titanio has a level of finish far beyond what you would expect in a frame of this price. The beautiful, precise welds are visible proof of the care with which the Titanio is built. The top tubes are a bit longer than their other frames. The ride is stable and comfortable, keeping with their philosophy of offering practical racing bikes that are enjoyable to ride for hours on end.
