| 03/08/2002 | An investigation that began after the 2000 Tour de France involving allegations of drug use by Lance Armstong and his team has yielded no results. "The inquiry will end soon," Francois Franchi, an assistant to the Paris prosecutor handling the case, told The Associated Press on Friday. "We have found nothing so far."
Although Armstrong never had failed a drug test and has continually denied taking drugs many French are still suspicious. Armstrong and nine teammates were summoned to appear last month before investigators seeking information. The Texan told investigators he would not show.cbs.sportsline.com
