| 04/03/2001 | Blackburn Introduces TiresBlackburn anounced that they add tires to their growing list of products that they sell. Last year they came out with inner tubes and now the next logical step is tires. They have a total of 16 new tires in all for mountain biking, road, hybrid, BMX, cruisers and kids bikes.
The line of new tires is intended to provide replacement mid-range tires. They are all made of 100 percent butyl rubber with a 60 thread per inch count in the casings.
Blackburn is entering a market that is dominated by the leaders: Continental, Panaracer, Michelin, IRC, Vittoria, and others, but they are confident that the market segment they are entering is currently under serviced. |
