| 01/20/2003 | Shimano will be backing up a lot of teams of the professional peloton in 2003. Teams that brought a lot of glory to Shimano in 2002 already and also some new squads. But in all cases, the quality of the riders is out of doubt.
They are continuing the sponsorship with US Postal, with a Lance Armstrong completely determined to get the fifth Tour de France in a row. Also another of the super teams of 2002 is still with them, the Spanish team Kelme, who last year won the Vuelta with González and also the team classification.
