We know from experience that details make all the difference, so our glasses offer a series of highly functional features.
Shimano introduces three new models: Bouken (Japanese for Adventure), Yakudo (Japanese for Action) and Seinou (Japanese for Performance). The frames of all Shimano glasses are made of GrilamidŽ. This is a lightweight thermoplastic material with high rigidity that is virtually unbreakable.
The lenses themselves are made of LexanŽ, an extremely hard material that protects the eyes from harmful UV rays and meets the stringent CE requirements in all respects. Shimano has also developed special hypoallergenic sidepieces that fit well without pinching.
