| 04/10/2003 | The new Dura Ace has in its bottom bracket and crankset system, one of its hot points. Both parts have been integrated (Hollowtech II), making the whole system is 30 grams lighter current Dura Ace.
But, a part from lightness, it also offers stiffer performance than current model. This increase in stiffness is basically accomplished by the outboard bearings, that are 82 mm apart. (BB-7700 bearings are 53.8 mm apart). The relieved outer chainring, is also helping to that more direct performance.
For the more technical customers, we will tell you that Q-Factor remains same as current Dura Ace. www.shimano.com
