| 05/23/2004 | President Bush had a minor crash Saturday during a mountain bike ride at his Texas ranch. On the last mile of the 17-mile ride, the president had a mishap that resulted in bruises and scrapes on his face, knees and right hand.
Fortunately Bush’s personal physician was on hand, Dr. Richard Tubb, who checked him out and cleaned his cuts. Bush refused a lift back to the house and instead toughed it out for the rest of the ride.![]()
