Selle Italia will release a new lightweight saddle by April 2001 called the Flite TT. This new model will be added to world’s most famous saddle (the Flite) with a light weight version featuring a new tubular titanium rail that is 45% lighter than a standard solid titanium rail. The padding used on the saddle has a new formula that improves the comfort without adding weight.

The flite TT will maintain the basic characteristics of the traditional Flite as ergonomics, measures and comfort. This new version will be 65 grams lighter (30%) than the standard Flite: Flite TT : 160 grams Flite : 225 grams Flite TransAm : 225 grams Flite Genuine gel: 260 grams
