USA Cycling is pleased to announce the return of the USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships to Mammoth Mountain, Calif. September 15-18, 2005.
Over 1,400 participants lined up to race Mammoth's challenging courses this past September as the new one-day format for crowning national champions was unveiled. USA Cycling is excited to return to the popular destination for a second consecutive year and hopes to improve upon the event's success.
"We were very pleased with the outcome of the first one-day national championships in 2004," commented USA Cycling CEO Gerard Bisceglia, "Mammoth is an ideal location and we look forward to another great event in 2005."
"Mammoth was thrilled to host the USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships in September," Mammoth Mountain Events Manager Kristy Williams remarked.
