It really works!

The Master Lock Street Cuff Bracket doesnt look as though it can carry much weight. It is made out of the same gauge of aluminum as a typical waterbottle cage. Theres nothing but a very not-intimidating-looking black plastic tab that clips into place to hold the cuffs in the bracket.

But surprise... it actually really works. Theyve designed it so that the bracket cradles the lock, using little-g (gravity) to maximum effect.

The bracket comes with two holes drilled out so that you can mount it to your waterbottle braze-ons. I decided to buy a small gizmo by Minoura that allows me to attach it to my seat post, where it is out of the way and I can still use my one set of waterbottle cage braze-ons for a water bottle.

Also, I have to say I dont know if it is a good idea to mount this thing on the braze-ons in any case... afterall, theyre designed to hold a waterbottle filled with water... not ~four pounds of cuff lock... just my opinion.

Thats why I gave it a 4-star and not a 5-star rating. They should include some sort of adapter that will permit you to mount the thing anywhere on the bike you have a mind to.
