These sunglasses are ideal for driving and most everyday outdoor uses. After wearing Ray-Bans for eighteen years, Maui Jims lightweight frames and improvements in polarization technology finally made me switch brands.
The lenses allow me to drive comfortably even with the sun shining right in my eyes. The only time you will probably want something with a stronger lense is if you do a lot of water activities in a tropical climate and need especially powerful lenses to cut the glare.
Since I live in Wisconsin, my only complaint is that the case these glasses come with is way too big and they bang around a lot.
