This is a nice sedate drive through the wine country without a single bicycle to be seen. It could be a great video for Charles Kurwalts sunday morning show, complete with the classical music. It is not a training video.

Loved the ride! I have all fourteen dvds and use them for my cycling and treadmill workouts. There are so many scenic rides I never get bored. I appreciate the lack of distracting commentary or graphics that are in similar DVDs.

BEST Video for Virtual Cycling Indoors!

Im an avid cyclist and love to workout indoors when the weather is bad. I loved this ride through wine country! Its a great compliment to indoor cycling workouts because the "forward-motion" views keep you wanting to push ahead instead of sit there or slack off. I have all fourteen dvds and use them daily. Best investment Ive made other than my stationary bike. There are so many scenic rides I never get bored. I appreciate the lack of distracting commentary, not seeing other cyclists on the screen, or graphics that are in similar DVDs.

UPDATE: I got the 2005 version of this dvd ride which I loved, so I went back and just got the 2007 updated version that came out this November advertised on their website - which is even better than the first!

I own several of these, and I was pleasantly surprised to see the wine country edition. Such beautiful landscapes and I know I would never be able to actually bike all the way through Napa Valley (especially tipsy on wine....) Very nice scenery!

Great vid! I feel bad for guys like you getting nasties trying to tear them down when they dont know what they are talking about. Its funny that the guy below is an author and is long winded in his endeavor of trying to be eloquent in his berating you. ;) I put some other comments up for you guys cause Im stoked that there are decent videos out there. So bikers/runners , swimmers if you can manage, watch the video. Call a friend, get him to get the video. But check it out.

This video is not only worth the purchase to encourage one to excercise (and enjoy it) but the photography and music is extremely beautiful. I am viewing an area Ive never seen (but hope to) and hearing music Ive never heard. Its like excercising in a theater. So worthwhile for so little money. What an adventure!
