Long story short, my buddy borrowed my bike and wasnt paying attention and crashed my bike into the back of a bus. This broke my previous carbon for in half. I was pretty happy about it. I decided I didnt need anything fancy and I didnt want to pay an outrageous amount for a fork, so I went with this. I couldnt be more happy. It looks great, and Im pretty sure it is lighter than my previous fork. Considering other carbon forks are much more pricey than this is, I would recommend this for anyone that wants carbon, but doesnt want to spend too much. Im sure its not as light as some of the name brand forks, but Im not as worried about that as some are.
