Great little lights. But they are better for younger people.I will need stronger lights next time.
Good for the Price     On: 2008-01-07

Good item for the price, but the front light doesnt blink and is not very bright.
Bike Light     On: 2007-12-06

The light is fine so far. Many of these last for a very short period of time.
worth the price     On: 2007-10-30

I picked this up mianly for the tail light. The tail light is great, the headlight is ok. It works just fine, not the best but not the worst
Battery life limits its usefulness     On: 2007-10-24

I bought this light to be more visible when riding home around dusk. Its plenty bright enough for that when the batteries are fresh, but thats a very temporary condition. I ride about 50 minutes each way on my daily commute. The front light lasts about 4 hours on two AA batteries. At that rate, it doesnt take very many rides before this light isnt such a bargain.

On the other hand, Im very happy with the taillight. It uses LEDs, so battery life isnt an issue. It has steady and blink modes. Its very basic, but it does the job.

If you buy this set, buy it for the taillight and use the headlight as a backup to whatever other light you use.
Does the Job of Being Seen     On: 2007-09-10

This light set is primarily to be seen; however, the 1.5Watt front headlight is still respectable on a very dark night - especially, when compared to the less expensive LED front headlights. For around fifteen bucks on sale, this combo does the job.
Not really bright enough     On: 2007-01-09

I guess it can do the job but you must be in very dark (No street lights) for you to feel it is providing the light you need when riding very slow. But if you just need a light for one of those once a year night rides then I guess it would work. Not good for night commutes, spend the big bucks!!!!
