![]() Park Tool AWS-1 Hex Wrench Set- Y-design (4mm, 5mm and 6mm) By: Park Tool Average Rating: 5.0 Total Reviews: 3 More Information Comfortable and Durable I own a lot of bike tools. Probably enough to open a shop. The one tool I use more than any other in my arsenal is the Park Tool AWS-1 Y-shaped Hex wrench, because its comfortable, durable, and useful for 90% of all the bolts on a bike. Pros: - The wrench arms themselves are made of high quality steel that seems to resist wear and tear, regardless of how often I use them. - The y-shaped design allows for a good amount of torque to be placed upon the bolt head - The plastic "body" is comfortable in the hand, and has been very durable over the past year - I have used the tool to work on bikes 2-3 times per week for over a year, and it doesnt show a single sign of "wearing out." - Its relatively cheap compared to some other specialty tools, especially Park Tool brand Con: - The y-shaped design makes tightening bolts in recessed or tight areas somewhat difficult, especially seatpost clamp bolts on posts like Thomson (2 x 4mm bolts). For those jobs, another (smaller) hex wrench is significantly better-suited. I like mine so much, Im going to get the AWS-3 containing the smaller wrench set. Highly recommended! very good This tool is very good for bike repair, good leverage. I use it for repairs at home. I carry the foldable version in my bike. YOU SHOULD HAVE ONE ALREADY by: tordonoffon On: 2007-04-23 ALL bike life on this planet would cease to exist without the 4/5/6 Allen Y wrench. Since campi never made one, Park is THE BEST. If you do ANY wrenching on your bike you should buy this NOW or sooner. You will use it all the time. Park makes great quality tools.
