pretty accurate to measure the riding distance. very easy to mount and use. Battery power is long enough that Ive been using it for 3 years without problem.
Not worth the money!     On: 2007-10-10

I tried this because it seemed like a few people managed to get it to work. And since I didnt want to spend a lot on one, I thought I would give it a go. NO. I wouldnt even waist your time and money! I have tried to get it to work. Its a great clock for when you are out and about, but I can not get it to do anything else. Plus, the instructions are a little difficult, as they are small and can be hard to identify what end of what goes where.
Bell makes a lousy product     On: 2007-06-19

I found this bike computer was easy to install and get to work, but after about 100 miles, this speedometer just failed completely. The magnet on the front wheel which is used to contact the "counter beacon" exhibits varied sensitivity resulting in inaccurate speed and distance readings. For example, my speed often jumped from an accurate 6 mph to 199 mph because the beacon slips and the magnetic signal is poor. The computer also reset the odometer when i took it off of the stage, losing all of my miles. The electrical contacts somehow got dislodged and the computer no longer functions at all. What a waste of money.

i am surprised to see anybody giving this product any stars given that this speedometer failed so quickly and in so many different ways. I have purchased a more expensive replacement from Schwinn and strongly recommend against the purchase of this Bell product.
Wheee!     On: 2007-05-30

Look how fast Im going, Ma! Keeps track of your mileage, too. I dont recommend trusting the calorie counter feature (on this or any other calculator - too many variables!)

Good, Make sure it is cliped in     On: 2006-11-11

This product is a descent one. I bit difficult to install but do-able in 15 min. Completely waterproof. Fell into a puddle because it wasnt clipped in right and came out just fine. Make sure to clip it in and pull on it, to make sure it is secured, or it might fall off. (like mine did). Also it only has 1 trip meater.(-)

looks good, only better if it works!     On: 2006-10-05

I bought it given reviews by others, but my one must have been faulty coz it worked for about 1 second after installing it and it hasnt worked ever since. Id suggest any would be buyer pay a bit more for something that works!
It's a Be-ute!     On: 2006-09-07

Ive had one of these on my mountain bike for over 2 years and 400 miles. It survived the woods of Virginia and Maryland, the streets of Washington, DC and the mountains of Southern California. Just recently the wire broke that goes from the sensor on the forks to the display on the handle bars. The wire came lose and got caught in the tread on the tire is the only reason it broke. It seems pretty accurate. The installation was easy and the placement was easy to see while still unobtrusive on my handle bars.

Very durable and a good value for the money.
Bell Bicycle Computer     On: 2006-08-26

It is reasonably accurate. The numbers displayed are formed irregularly. You cant zero it out by zeroing one category i.e. Distance. The price is reflective of its quality.
Great value for the features!     On: 2006-06-12

My first bicycle computer had half of the features this one has and cost me twice the price. This little guy is a great value. Although it doesnt have wireless connectivity, it still has just about all the features you would find in a high-end model.

Easy to install. Easy to use. Easy to detach when parking your bike or just to review recorded readings from your last ride.
