These shoes first caught my eye at a mall a couple years ago. I had wanted a pair of Chucks for a while but I was turned off by the painted-on logo. The logo on these are embroidered, and of course its leather too so theyre lovely shoes, and surprisingly comfortable. Im on my second pair now, with a third boxed up in my closet. My only complaints involve long-term wear. It doesnt take long for metal to wear off the eyelets and discolor the laces. After a couple months, the rubber in front on the sides of the shoes will split where you bend your feet.
Overall, they arent the most durable shoes inspite of the leather, but that doesnt matter cause they look so awesome... yeah, I actually said awesome. On: 2007-07-31
I bought my first pair of these over a year ago, and after almost daily wear they are still doing fine, although Im buying a backup pair to rotate to. Probably the most timeless sneaker design ever, it looks good with everything, and will always look good. Great design. On: 2007-05-27
I am very picky about my shoes. I wont just go to any shoe store and pick out something basic, functional, or because its "on sale." This is my second pair of black leather Chucks Ive owned since my first pair is in Ohio and I live in Alaska. Every day that I wear them, I get tons of compliments from men and women. If youre looking at these you should also know that Converse has stopped making them, so now is the time to get them. Long live the leather Chucks!! On: 2007-05-09
These are the same shoes that Will Smith wore and they are quite a conversation starter. They are retro but modern since they are made out of leather. This is my second pair and they last much longer than the original canvas style. On: 2006-08-14
Just like the cavase hi-top all stars we all know and love only the are LEATHER. They have the same look and feel as a Black Leather Jacket. I love these shoes!
