Michelin is known for making some of the best car tires, so one would think their bike tires will be just as good. I bought these tires and was impressed with their feel. The high pressure rating made them nice and firm on smooth road. However, their durability is something to be questioned. I rode approximately 160 miles on them in the course of two weeks and was surprised when they suddenly blew out. I had the pressure within its limits and was on smooth road with no gravel and saw the front tire blow while riding at 16 mph. The front tire had a hole the side of a dime in the sidewall. Michelin needs to post the tires TPI (treads per inch) so customers can gauge the tires performance.
