![]() Sunlite Grocery Getter Pannier Bicycle Bag By: SunLite Average Rating: 3.5 Total Reviews: 12 More Information Sunlite Grocery Carriers for bicycles The products were delivered without a hitch. They are lightweight and easy to attach to the carrier. They dont have a cover or a "lid" and that was a surprise. They are very good size and carry a lot of groceries. The clips are best with a slender carrier frame, I had to resize the clips to get them to stay on better. very functional I have used this pack for several months now and have found it to be very functional and durable. It will hold a lot of stuff, lunch, cellphone, magazines, lighting, extra clothes and makes a very good commuting pack. I have it mounted to a Blackburn rack. I commute ~6 miles a day. I only wish more people would do the same! My only complaint is that sometimes while peddling the heel of my shoe comes in contact with the pack. It is very bulky but then again that is what I bought it for! very functional I have used this pack for several months now and have found it to be very functional and durable. It is very bulky but then again that is what I bought it for! Hold everything I need I have had my panniers for about 3 years and have been very happy with them. They hold a gallon of milk and a nice chunk of watermelon. I could see how you might have difficulty securing them depending on your back rack, but I havent had to much trouble and I dont use any additional hardware (my rack has a little Y near the spoke- just loop the elastic strap around the Y and hook back into bag, then hang bag from top hooks to rack). Theyve held up well, but I only use them during the summer. very practical What I love about this bag is that I can take it off and carry it like a big purse. Wonderful for both groceries and laptop. Good value, could have been designed better. These are sold as singletons, not as a pair. That said, its a good deal. The metal hooks on top with the plastic bungee on the bottom do a decent job of holding them secure, but they can flop around a bit. There is no top to keep the rain out--and this is by design. I much prefer my Ortliebs, but Ortliebs cost three times as much. These are good for groceries, as the name suggests. Good Product Have had this pannier for about a month or so. Works pretty well for my purposes. Its handy for most items. I carry my tennis racquet bag in it with no problem. Its well-built, and that it can fold up flat is a plus when its not in use. For general purpose use, this item is a good buy. Id like the mounting to be a bit more secure, but its not a big problem. You can make new friends with theses! Because all your stuff is garenteed to come spilling out onto the road. Although They look great in the picture, they are really dangerous. I Had to guess how to install them, it did not come with instructions The hook does not attach well to bike rack, infact not at all it just hangs there. Its just a rubber coated u shaped piece of metal not ridged, or crimped for snap on or snug fit. The small bungy for the back side of the bag slid off and into the bike gear, stopped the bike, I flipped off , then headed to the emergency room. not good. While riding I had to keep looking in the rear mirror to make sure they are not dragging on the road. They fell off 6 times on my first ride out with them. I tried securing them with zip ties. The weight of the groceries pushes and bends the bag back toward the wheel spokes and rub into them. Everything I have done to try to make it work has failed. I found it so hard to believe that the hooks would be so small and useless. Worst part of this is after only 2 days of use they look so beaten up I cant possible return them The bottom line is always safety. These bags should really be recalled. I have now ordered the Wald 582 wire baskets to replace these. the reviews are good and they seem to be functional and safe. I through the Sunlite bags in the car and use them for whatever. Does not hold onto rack 2 stars for the material and the nice size. No stars at all for safety. It does not take very large bumps to come off the rack. As it does not fully close (no cover), on my first ride everything in the bag spilled onto a major 4-lane road when I hit a small bump. Not good. Pop goes the Pannier bag This has partly do to the large bars on my rack, but the bag does have a tendency to pop off the rack when I hit bumps. I wish that there was a top cover to this bag, and a couple more bungee cords / straps to secure it more. Its still better than nothing. There also seems to be some holes starting to form from the material unraveling.!? ok panniers These hold a lot of stuff but there is no cover for the top. They do not attach very well to a rack. I had to use zip ties to make sure it didnt fall off. Heavy items in the bag swing around causing balance issues. Sunlite Grocery Getter Pannier Bicycle Bag Well made with lots of space, extra pockets for small stuff and a case for your phone that can be detached. The bag can be a bit bulky when filled but folds up nicely when not in use. I would recommend this product to a friend. Sturdy This bag is easy to put on a bike rack, and very sturdy and big. Easily folds flat and snaps shut when empty. Sturdy This bag is easy to put on a bike rack, and very sturdy and big. Easily folds flat and snaps shut when empty. |
