Perfect!     On: 2007-12-16

I purchased the Minoura Swing Grip (large silver) from a local bicycle shop. It completely disassembles into many small pieces for easy installation with and allen wrench (included). There is an exploded diagram on the back of the packaging so you can put all the pieces back together again.

I recommend you carefully look at how the Swing Grip is assembled before installing, especially the strap portion which wraps around your bike. It is completely adjustable,(fits my Electra Townie handlebar stem. no problem).

Other reviewers are describing difficulty getting the screw in the strap. I had the same issue at first attempt but remembered the strap was packaged assembled "shapped like an elongated oval". Recreate the oval strap shape to fit the location on your bike and the screw goes into the strap without needing super glue.
Swing Grip does the JOB!     On: 2007-01-14

I took the recommendation of the other reviewer to mount this unit, you need to buy super glue and glue the silver nut to the black plastic square nut and once your confident of the stainless steel bands m-hole
(pre measure stainless band) go ahead and glue the stainless band to the silver nut, mentioned above. Once you accomplish this mounting the unit is a cinch. It looks good and is very light weight. This gave me a place to mount a computer and run triathlon/TT aero bars. You could mount lights, heart rate monitor or any other item that you may desire.
Great Product, Difficult Installation     On: 2007-01-06

Product works great. Im very happy with it for mounting my light. It gets the light up and away from the cables, which used to be in front of the light.

I found installation do be extremely difficult - nearly impossible. Getting the screw into the strap/nut required the creative use of super glue to hold things in place. This needs to be improved.
