![]() Chrysler PT Cruiser Tour Edition AP Men's Cruiser Bike By: PT Cruiser Average Rating: 3.5 Total Reviews: 6 More Information ok It is a good bike for the price. My 13 year old son loves it. When we received it there were some dents and the logo stickers were barely on with bubbles everywhere. Stickers peeled off easily and it looks great with out all of them. Great kids bike and cheaper than the average cruiser. Fun to ride This is a great leisure bike to hit the paved trails, parks, beach, or just around town. Its a relaxing and comfortable ride. First off, Im not sure the "Looks good on paper" reviewer is really giving any useful information about this item. To bash the rating when the others think highly of it, should tell you a lot about their rating system. Im big and tall and I find it very solid. This bike gets admiring looks. Its no plain vanilla beach cruiser, thats for sure. Id even say its kind of flashy with the burgandy metallic paint, flames and bright whitewalls. I removed the unnecessary fenders, bell and reflectors, and it looks a whole lot better. Yeah, the instructions supplied are for standard bikes in general and not exactly specific to this model, but so what? Its not like you are trying to put a helicopter together... Its a bike, and its already partially assembled! I looked at the instructions just once, to figure out how the handlebar stem tightens in the head tube. The rest was simple. Youll need a Socket set, wrenches and a couple of Allen wrenches to put it together. I had a bike stand w/ a clamp to hold the frame in place, so it was a piece of cake. If you dont have the right tools then you may want to consider taking it to a bike shop, or it may be frustrating. I have a full suspension trail bike that cost me a small fortune, but I think that the cruiser will see more action. Its more fun to glide around comfortably. Excellent bike for around $100 I had no problem assembling this bike, since I had the right tools. Most of it is assembled already. I had to install the handle bar, bolt on the front tire, bolt on the pedals, assemble the seat, and install the fenders. I also bought a womans cruiser bike from the same company, and I noticed the fenders on this one are easier to install. In fact, I didnt need any tools to screw on the fenders. We put a child bike-seat on the back for our daughter and she loves it. Id recommend checking all nuts and bolts periodically, especially after the first few rides. The seat is comfortable and handle bars are great for my long arms. I gave it 5 stars because I was able to get is under $100. Bad Directions The bike is very nice but the directions do not apply to this bike. Not difficult to assemble but would have been easier with proper directions Looks Good On "Paper" Just disappointed is all.... Wasnt what I expected and its very cheaply made.... Bike Its ok. The bike is packaged well and is easily put together if one does not use the instructions. Good sturdy machine. A bit pricey. |
