Clamp doesn't work     On: 2009-11-01

Received the lock on time, but the clamp was on the opposited side of the u-bolt and doesnt allow the lock to be mounted correctly.
very good     On: 2009-08-08

very good lock, occasionally the key is hard to open it with, but just fidgeting around makes it open.
Great lock worth the price!     On: 2009-07-30

I bought this lock after not getting scammed at my local cycle shop. Most of the U-locks they had were $40 and up, this is a great bang for your buck. Great if you can pay the extra [...] bucks and get a security wire for like [...] bucks, that way you qualify for free shipping.
Solid product     On: 2009-07-09

Solid lock. My only complaints is that sometimes the key is hard to turn completely around to unlock, it really has to be perfectly inserted in order to turn. The hoop is a little small to get around a wide armed bike rack. Sits on the bike well.
Works, but not the best     On: 2009-03-12

I like this style of lock. U-lock design is great maybe could have been a little wider. Difficult to turn key many times, but thats the sacrifice for easy key access.
Sturdy Bike Lock     On: 2007-12-11

The lock is good but on a scale of 1-12 (12 being safest) this lock rates at a 7. This is Kryptonites scale, not mine. Since I live in a downtown, sea-side area, bikes get stolen all the time. I use this lock in addition to a thick cable lock. Between locking the bike frame to a solid object using this lock, I intertwine the cable lock (figure 8 style) through & around the frame and through and around the tires. In doing this, even if they break this lock, they still cant ride off AND, they cant steal my tires very easily.
Another suggestion... loose the quick release on your seat. Its hell having to stand and pedal if they steal your seat. Dont make it easy on them.
