Good overall helmet     On: 2008-06-14

This is a great helmet and its about the most comfortable one Ive tried on. The GPS retention systems works great to cater to the exact size of your noggin to get a good snug fit. Plus the looks and color scheme are awesome! The only reason I dont give it 5 stars is becase it doesnt seem to ventilate as well as I had hoped. My old Giro Indicator helmet seemed to do a better job of keeping your head cool, but wasnt near as comfortable as this one.
really good helmet for the price     On: 2008-05-05

this is a great helmet if your in the $75 or below range like i was at the time...its got a good look to it...its pretty comfortable (minus the straps around the chin, not so comfortable, though not too much to complain about). Its well made and seems to be heavy duty, though still remains very light...the padding inside the helmet can be removed and washed, then put back in. its saved me twice so far and i didnt have any headaches so that was good enough for me.....i would def get it again unless i had like $175 to spend on a helmet.
Love my Bell Influx and will buy another     On: 2007-12-28

I just broke my Bell Influx helmet...the hard way. I was mountain biking and hooked a tree with my handlebars and went down, hitting my head on a massive root. The Bell Influx dented on the outside shell and broke clean through its foam structure...just like its supposed to do, absorbing the energy of the fall so that I wont. Im happy to say that while I killed the helmet, I experienced no bruising, swelling, or pain. I love the fit, styling, and vents of the Influx and now I know it performs flawlessly in crashes as well. I intend to buy another Influx immediately!
Very pleased     On: 2007-09-11

Ive used it twice on long bike rides in Houston and found it very comfortable and cool. As cool is being of great importance for Houston weather, so far, I am very pleased with my purchase.
Can't Go Wrong with Bell!     On: 2007-08-23

ALL Bicycle helmets should be replaced after 1 - 3 seasons, depending on use. Over time, the injection-molded foam simply gets brittle and is no longer safe.

Im getting ready to replace my Influx, and plan on getting another. It fits me perfectly, the Roc-Loc adjustment wheel is the best on the market, it comes in color schemes to match every taste, and its reasonably priced. What more could you ask for?
Great Pick!     On: 2007-07-16

I gave the helmet to my husband for Fathers Day. I was afraid that the helmet was not going to fit his head but after making some adjustments to the helmet, it fitted perfectly. He loves the helmet and I love the peace of mind of knowing he is protected when he rides his bike.

This lightweight helmet fits comfortably while keeping my head cool.

After too many years without a bike I finally decided it was time to buy one for commuting from work. Since the bike cost more than I planned for, I wanted to get a good helmet at the lowest price. I started by trying on lower priced helmets but just didnt get a comfortable fit. When I got to the Influx, the fit felt good. A month later, Im still happy with my new helmet.

To get a proper fit, the straps must be properly adjusted. The five simple steps are detailed in the owners manual complete with diagrams. Basically one wears the helmet in its proper position, adjusts the Cam-Lock adjustors, pull the chin strap tight, set the geared positioning system (GPS), and test the helmets fit.

It is recommended that after an accident, the helmet be replaced, as damage is not always obvious. Bell offers a crash replacement policy for purchases in Canada and the US costing $35 in the states. Excessive heat can damage this helmet, store in a cool dry place when not in use. Heat damage is indicated by uneven or bubbly surfaces.

This lightweight helmet provides the protection I need, fits comfortably, and keeps my head cool. The Influx has proved to be a good purchase for me.

PROS:
Comfortable fit
Vented to keep you cool
Provides protection

CONS:
Removable visor can block too much field of vision at times.
