I purchased a bike online recently, and found the seatpost to be too short. Trouble is, the seatpost turned out to be 30mm, which isnt very common.

I looked around and found generally only overpriced high-end models were available in this size, until I checked Amazon on a hunch and found this Promax model.

When I received it, I was very impressed with the quality of the milled aluminum - its just the simple single-bolt/pivot type, but way better than the stamped steel-headed seatpost that came with the bike. Frankly, if Promax can manufacture a seatpost of this quality (and in this range of sizes) and let it go for the $13 I paid, I cant figure out how any bike manufacterer has any excuse to put anything less on any bike. Whatever. Another point for Promax.
