great tire for the price

Definitely not a fast tire by any means, but has excellent grip. This tire is perfect for transforming a universal bike into a more of an mtb cycle.

Fine cyclocross tire for experimenting

Bought primarily to put more tire between the ground and my flat-bar road bike rims when riding gravel roads and easier trails. Be aware that it will increase rolling resistance and decrease traction and stability on pavement. If you have a road bike and want to make it a little more versatile, this is a great tire. It should be fine for a cyclocross as well, which is what its made for.
