Another Great Cycling DVD To Keep Me Moving On My Treadmill!     On: 2010-02-26

Exercise has to be interesting and inviting to me or I wont do it.

This is working! I dont like exercising in public. Whether its walking, running, or otherwise sweat-producing exercise, I want to do it from the comfort of my home gym, at any time of the day or night I feel like exercising.

I never really got excited about doing time on the treadmill. I would scan to see if there were any good shows or movies on to get me through it, but it just wasnt working. I have 20 lbs. to lose. I needed to get consistent.

The first one I tried won me over. It was the California Coastline, which included Big Sur, my favorite place to be. I meant to try another Bike-O-Vision the next day, but I went back to this one. Love it!

The second one was the Washington D.C., Maryland area one, which had a patriotic feel to it and lots of upbeat music.

The third one, which I did last night, was this one, All Across America. Whoever chose the music did an awesome job! It keeps me moving and reminds me to change the pace once in a while. Some members of my family would NOT agree about the music, and for those who only prefer one kind of music and this isnt it, I say, bring your own music. Bring whatever sounds inspire you.

I hope they will go back to some of these states and show more of what they have to offer. For example, Oklahoma is not all Plains. It would be great if they chose to do the Talimena Scenic Drive across the Ouachita National Forest in Arkansas and Oklahoma, if they dared. It might not be safe, but Ill buy it if they do.

In fact, Ill probably buy most, if not all, of the Bike-O-Vision DVDs eventually. These really make a difference. My workouts are much more consistent, which makes it a healthy choice, very much worth the money for me.

Not real exciting     On: 2009-05-01

Recorded in car looking straight ahead most of the time. For a "Casual" and "scenic" ride, you dont see much. Theyll keep you occupied while riding your stationary bike, but you wont go "WOW" to the scenery. Could be better.
Makes biking more enjoyable!     On: 2009-02-15

I found the Bike-o-vision DVD to be quite satisfactory even though it is obviously filmed from the dashboard of a car. The speed was about right, and I enjoyed it. My husband, on the other hand, felt that there wasnt enough looking around at scenery, and as he said, "Who wants to stare at a road for 45 minutes?" He also didnt like the music. (I did.) So, Ill continue to use it...my husband probably wont.
Boring!     On: 2007-12-10

I bought this video and two other Bike-O-Vision DVDs for my husband because he gets bored easily on the stationery bike. His complaint was that the video is boring, very seldom does your view move from the road ahead to see other scenery. The city of Savannah, Georgia looks like any-where-USA. Just roads, buildings. So what? I watched this video this morning to get my take on it and I agree with my husband. Boring.
They're GREAT and I've gotten them all.     On: 2007-07-25

Im an avid cyclist and I think these videos are a really great product. Ive recommended them to all my cycling friends - great for indoor workouts when the weather is bad. I ended up getting all their dvds and use them regularly. Theyre great compliments to indoor workouts because the views you get are virtual "forward motion" that keeps you wanting to push ahead. There are many scenic rides in this compilation across the USA so Ill never get bored. You really see the diverseness of the landscapes. I also really appreciate the lack of distracting commentary (or riders on the screen) and unnecessary graphics found in other similar DVDs that Ive bought. Im looking forward to the next release.
Great Video for cycling workouts     On: 2007-07-25

Great Video! I have the entire set of fourteen videos and use them for daily cycling workouts. There are so many scenic rides youll never get bored again! You really get to see the diverseness of the landscapes across the country.
Great vid!     On: 2007-03-12

Awesome video! First time I watched it was at a friends house. He was showing me some of the scenery of the video while we were on the couch. ;) I dont have a bike but I have a tred-mill and it was pretty fun running to this. Felt like I was running faster. Great video and I got your other ones too. Thanks for putting out something different then all the other generic videos out there. Getting a bike as well, but your videos keep you interested enough so running was fun too.

Oh, btw I read that comment from the woman talking about a carmicheal training video. They put out some of the MOST generic videos. Boring is not what you want when your exercising.

Thanks again!

Interesting!     On: 2007-03-10

Ive never been to the areas shown in this particular video, so it was nice to see some new landscapes. I think the Bike o vision series is a great concept. Something to watch while you work out... Looking forward to the next one....
Adventurous!     On: 2007-03-10

I have never been on some of these scenic highways. This video was a great way to see some awesome landscapes while working out! Nice work!

Not for serious bikers     On: 2007-02-15

If you are a biker looking for a winter work out video this is not for you. I bought 2 of these for my husband. I ordered them in early November and they arrived in early February. They are just short choppy scenes with cheesey music, not what you need for a training ride. I am very disappointed. I am glad I also ordered one from Carmichael Training. That one was just what my husband was looking for.
Misrepresentation     On: 2007-01-17

"Bike-o-Vision"? This DVD was probably shot from the front seat of a tour bus. Any cyclists in this video would be scurrying to get out of the way. Why are they implying physical fitness or environmental benefits from this? Smokey Mountains at 55 mph. Bah.
