![]() Dekra D-Drive Women's 26-Inch Chainless Comfort Bike By: Kinetic by Kurt Average Rating: 4.5 Total Reviews: 5 More Information Great bike. I really like this bike. It only has 3 gears, but good enough for the bike riding that I do, just make sure you dont pedal when you shift gears. It rides really smooth. Really happy with the purchase. Dekra D-Drive I bought this bike for my wife for her birthday. I liked the concept of not worrying about getting your pants legs caught in the chain. It was easy enough to assemble...about half an hour. Someone that has worked on bikes before could do it faster. My wife loves the bike, the 3 speeds are fine for the casual riding she does around town. There was one problem we had, there was some slippage of the gears when she went uphill. She called the support line and talked with a technician. He told her what the problem was and how to fix it. I had it repaired in less then 5 minutes once I figured out what "red line" he was talking about. Dekra D-Drive I bought this bike for my wife for her birthday. Chainless Bike I purchased this bicycle as a gift for my wife who was interested in doing something which would provide her the opportunity to exercise. The Dektra arrived in one package and required some assembly. Also in the box was an owners manual written in so many different languages that it made me chuckle out loud. There were also many miscellaneous pamphlets and operating instructions. Missing however were clear cut instructions on how to assemble the front wheel to the frame. This may not pose a problem for many people, but I have never owned or ridden a bike so it caused me a little dismay. You see, I am a little mechanically challenged. I called a bicycle shop and asked the charge for assembling a front wheel, handle bars, and seat. The person on the other end of the phone wanted to know why I just didnt do those things myself. I was embarrased and challenged. Soooo, I stared at the bike and its unassembled parts for a while and decided to go for it. What was there to lose? If I had to take it to a shop then let them have something to fix. My brain storm worked out perfectly. In no time, before my eyes was an attractive fully assembled bike ready to be taken for a spin. Let me tell you, if I can finish the assembly anyone can. My wife loves it. Her only complaint is that the seat is a little uncomfortable for her. It looks to me to have plenty of padding, but what do I know? Overall, I think the Dektra D-Drive bike is a good value and if Dextra would like, I could write a 1-2-3 assembly procedure for dummies like me. What a beautiful bike! They warranty the bike for life, so I figured that it was worth the risk to purchase it sight unseen. Its reasonably priced, too. And, I like the colors! Very happy with my purchase I like the fact that my pants dont get greasy chain marks. You also dont hear the "clunking" that you hear when riding bikes with chains. The ride is really quiet. I was worried that the bike might be heavy but its actually very lite. It came with a rack on the back and a nicely padded seat. =) What a beautiful bike!
